The (other) Best Books About Comics 2000-2009

I started this list with my last post, Gerard Jones, excellent history of the comic book golden age, MEN OF TOMORROW, but here’s a couple more …

This collection of interviews conducted by Eisner for the Spirit Magazine featured great stories from the men themselves. Kirby, Kubert Kane, Canniff . There all here and their locker room insight into their process and experiences are a great way to get to know these creators better.

This dialogue between Miller and Eisner showed how well Will was still paying attention to the current comics scene. His remarks about the business of comics will educate new readers , and remind old timers how much we miss his perspective on the changing landscape of today’s publishing world.

I welcome your additions to this list.
